The 2009-10 Calhoun Performing Arts Series presents

"The Legacy of Matthew Shepard"

Guest Speaker: Judy Shepard, mother of Matthew Shepard and Executive Director of the Matthew Shepard Foundation.  Q&A will follow the talk.

The life and death of Matthew Shepard changed the way we talk about and deal with hate in the United States. Since he was murdered in 1998, in the small town of Laramie, WY, the legacy of this remarkable young man's life has inspired and challenged millions of individuals to erase hate in all forms.  For more information visit: Matthew Shepard Foundation.
