Local, Out-of-School Opportunities
To search for outside volunteer opportunities by area of interest, go to Where to Volunteer. Upper School students should also check their portal page for announcements of updated opportunities. 

In-School Opportunities
For in-school volunteer opportunities, go to In-School volunteering. Upper School students should also check their portal page for announcements, or check with Debbie. 

Summer Volunteer Opportunities
For volunteer work during the summer months, be sure to see Community Service/Travel as well as other Summer Opportunities. You'll find a long list of organizations looking for help, as well as vacation and travel programs that have community service components for students. 

Internships
Many organizations offer internships during the school year as well as summer months. Some are even paid positions. Click here for Internship Opportunities in Community Service.

Logging Community Service Hours
Calhoun's Upper School students are required to submit verification of community service, to fulfill the graduation requirement of 60 hours.  Please click on CS Forms.

If You Have a Volunteer Opportunity for a Student...
Calhoun parents, friends or alums whose companies offer volunteer opportunities, jobs or internships for high school or college students are encouraged to submit the information on Calhoun's Internship Bank form or contact Debbie.
