Calhoun Theater Goes West
For kids 11–16-years-old who love making theater, this is a special opportunity not to be missed!
Spend five glorious weeks recreating the Wild West on stage! Limited to 16 students, the group will produce an original theater piece in the tradition of a classic Western, along with original sets and costumes.
This will be an intense 5-weeks making theater from the ground up! The actors will not only have a hand in shaping the story and writing segments of the play itself, they’ll collaborate with a professional set designer and costume designer to fully realize the rough and raucous world of tumbleweeds and tundra – a world in which drifters, dreamers and downright villains stalk the saloons and serenade the doggies.
Performances will take place in the last week of the program (schedule to be announced).
