"At Calhoun Jazz Workshop, I learned how to put my soul into the music...   they really teach you how to explore different notes rather than the basic root notes. I now have the ability to make the chords sound unique and warm.  Thank you for making this camp possible, it taught me so much." - Clay, 10th grade

"I met amazing musicians and talented kids.  The songs we learned were fun but still challenging.  During the camp, I especially enjoyed the master classes on "groove," and the classes on "building your solo."  I never really knew what made a solo great.  I had an enjoyable week and became a better musician."  - Rex, 11th grade
