Upper School Spanish Teacher (Grades 9-12)

Calhoun is seeking a full-time teacher for all levels of High School Spanish for the 2010-2011 school year.  Candidates must be interested in collaborative, interdisciplinary, constructivist learning models. Classes might include advanced electives in history, culture, film, and comparative literature.  Candidates must be up-to-date with current materials and approaches of the field.  A successful candidate will be interested in the life of the school beyond the classroom, will enjoy advising students and will bring enthusiasm to the school’s rich co-curriculum.  Native speaker preferred, masters in education or related field preferred.
