Hello Calhoun community,
We would like to welcome you to our Counselors' Corner!
Here you will find tips and resources on self care, how to stay connected and healthy, balancing school work, personal life and all emotions that are hitting all of us in such an unprecedented time in history.
In times of crisis, we might go through so many emotions, sometimes at once, that it is helpful to know that you are not alone and it is important to focus on what you can control. We would like to remind you that it can be helpful to acknowledge the situation you are experiencing and what you are feeling.
Next, work on setting realistic expectations about what can be done, with the understanding that some of the facts are fluid and we will deal with them as they unfold. It is important to try to stay connected to either or both family and friends. Take care of yourself both mentally and physically. Be patient with yourself, be kind and don’t be shy reaching out for help.
