Upper School students in the Community Action class are hosting a toy drive to benefit the young children at West End Residences, a homeless shelter on 83rd and West End Avenue.
Donations of new or gently used toys—suitable for infants and children up to ten years of age—can be brought to Calhoun until late Thursday, December 13. Drop-off bins will be located in the 74th and 81st Street lobbies. Toys should be unwrapped.
Calhoun has a long-standing relationship with West End Residences, which is home to the "West Side Troopers Library"—established in 2014 by Calhoun's Lower School Cooper's Troopers in memory of classmate Cooper Stock.
