Save the date for the 2019 Calhoun Benefit, Friday, March 1, 7pm-12:30am at the Ziegfeld Ballroom, 141 West 54 Street.
The Benefit is an annual fundraising event that brings together Calhoun parents, faculty, alumni, grandparents and friends in celebration of our school community. The evening raises vital funds in support of the educational experience students receive at Calhoun, and features cocktails, live and silent auctions, dinner and dancing.
To set the tone for the evening, the theme for this year’s Benefit will be glam rock, inspired by Ziggy Stardust, the legendary rock persona created by David Bowie in the early 1970s. Glam rock added a rare splash of color and sparked a kind of cultural evolution through the spectacle of identity, dressed up in spectacular costume. Think glamorous, theatrical, androgynous subversive and glittery!
Tickets go on sale for the Benefit on January 23, and early bird tickets will be available until February 5.
