Calhoun students are asking for your help in supporting our local food pantry!

The West Side Campaign Against Hunger (WSCAH) is in need of donations of canned or packaged foods. Collection bins will be located in the 81st Street & 74th Street lobbies from Mon., Nov. 12, until Fri., Nov. 16. The donations will be delivered by students to WSCAH during Calhoun’s Annual Harvest Festival on Mon., Nov. 19.

Community members can also make sure this Thanksgiving is enjoyed by all of our neighbors, by donating frozen turkeys—either by making donations online to WSCAH or by texting "TURKEY" to 77948—now through Nov. 22. Suggested donation is $18 per turkey.

This year's Thanksgiving food drive is led by Debbie Aronson, Director of Service Learning, and spearheaded by 3rd grade students and teacher Dana Wolfson.
