2nd Grade Math

In second grade, teachers use a constructivist approach to math that allows children to create knowledge and retain their learning in a meaningful way. Second graders discover mathematical relationships using manipulatives, learn multiple strategies for problem-solving, and practice demonstrating how a solution was reached.
