Students meet regularly with a Spanish teacher that helps them acquire language skills through fun and meaningful activities. Oral communication is at the core of the Spanish curriculum in Lower School—Early Childhood, as well as a kinesthetic approach that includes the integration of puppets, dance, movement, art activities, role-plays and theater. Children are introduced to reading and writing in Spanish, and by second grade have a strong foundation from which to build for future language learning.
