Physical Education

Physical education is an important component of the curriculum in 3’s-2nd grade. Children experience versatile movement and fitness activities that help them build a broad base of motor skill. Some of the key competencies that are emphasized in the P.E. program include balance, flexibility, coordination, reaction time, rhythm and orientation. Activities such as gymnastics, obstacle courses, running and agility courses and ball handling boost strength, resilience and self-confidence, and enables children to be stronger problem-solvers.
