Elementary students build a strong foundation in essential media literacy and technology skills through their explorations in Media Arts and Computer Technology.
Fourth graders take Media Arts, which introduces students to a variety of tools for storytelling and communication, including stop-motion animation, digital editing and scratch coding. Students make their own films, music videos, podcasts and video games, with ample opportunities to work both independently and collaboratively, and share their work with the community. Fifth graders take Computer Technology, students learn a variety of core technical applications and delve into the inner workings of computers. They come away with essential skills for their future academic journeys, such as making PowerPoint presentations, word processing, navigating Google Suite, and building basic websites through Google Sites.
