Fourth Graders Take the Stage in Original Production

Fourth graders took to the stage to present their original theatrical production, The Day We Saved the World (Before Dessert). Centered around a birthday party, the performance featured a fully student-developed script and lively musical numbers. Every fourth grader was creatively engaged throughout the process – crafting their own memorable characters and collaborating to bring their shared vision to life.

The performance marked the culmination of the fourth grade's partnership with Broadway Bound Kids (BBK), an organization dedicated to building technical skills while fostering social emotional learning, confidence, connection, mindfulness, and creativity. Since September, students have worked with BBK teaching artists once each cycle to develop their acting skills and prepare for the final performance.

Fourth graders’ enthusiasm, teamwork, and confidence shone throughout the production process, and we're so proud of what they created. We look forward to our continued partnership with Broadway Bound Kids as they get ready to work with our third grade in the spring!
