Calhoun is now offering a six-week fall program for toddlers aged approximately 18-36 months.
Under the guidance of teachers Maureen Aryee and Lori Joachim, two veteran early childhood educators who work at Calhoun, this play based “Adult and Me” program gives children an opportunity to experience a classroom setting where they can build independence and socialize with other children their age. The hour and a half program includes play time, a group snack with book reading and singing, and ends with some movement exercises.
The classes take place on Friday afternoons (3:15-4:45pm) and Saturday mornings (9:30-11am), from October 18 through November 23, at Calhoun's 85th Street building (325 W. 85th Street). Each child must be accompanied by an adult. Classes are open to all families, so please share with anyone you know who has a terrific toddler.
If you are interested, please sign up here. The cost of each class is $85, and you can take as many or as few classes as your schedule allows.
If you have any questions, contact Lori Joachim.
