If you would like to register for any of the events listed below prior to applying, simply fill out an inquiry form. If you have already submitted an application, you can register for any of these events by logging in to your portal and signing up via the checklist under "Optional Steps."

Fall 2023 Admissions Events

In-Person Open House Events 

During our Open Houses, families can hear directly from our academic leaders, administration and current teachers. Learn how Calhoun is OPEN to choice and change in all divisions. These events will be held at our main campus located at 433 West End Avenue at 81st Street. Reservation via the portal is required. 

Our Open House for families interested in Middle School & Upper School is on November 6 and our Open House for Lower School is on November 13.


Virtual Conversation and Q&A with Our Division Directors 

Join our Division Directors and hear firsthand how we engage our students on a path of lifelong learning. The event will feature a dedicated Q&A session, allowing you to ask questions to gain clarity about the Calhoun experience.


Virtual Information Sessions

Learn about our child-centric curriculum by joining an information session with a member of our Admissions team. You'll have the opportunity to learn about our vibrant community and ask any questions you may have about Calhoun. 


Tour Calhoun

Prospective families may tour Calhoun during the admissions process, after an application has been submitted. In the meantime, you can also explore our campus and learning spaces through our virtual tours and videos.

Explore our Divisions

Our Lower School offers the choice of two tracks for children in preschool through 3rd grade: Open Inquiry and Montessori.

Calhoun Middle Schoolers feel a sense of belonging that gives them the confidence and ability to be agents of their own academic journeys.

Through a challenging core curriculum supplemented by over 100 electives, Upper School students learn to work hard and discover their unique passions.
