Athletic Training

At Calhoun, the Certified Athletic Trainer's top priority is ensuring the health and well-being of our student-athletes. They provide emergency care, injury evaluation, rehabilitation support, and concussion management.

Schedule an Appointment

If a student sustains a non-life-threatening injury outside of school or after a game, they should notify their coach and schedule an appointment to see the athletic trainer. The athletic trainer is located in the Athletics Department office and conducts evaluations on floor 8M, with hours from 1:30-6pm.

Upper School students can schedule appointments online with the athletic trainer. Please note: the athletic trainer may be off-site for games on certain days, so US students should try to book appointments during their E2 block.

Middle School students should email the athletic trainer to schedule an appointment.

Parent/Guardian Communications

When sharing private or protected health information—such as injury statuses or any personal details—the athletic trainer will use their encrypted NYU Langone email (jada.tyson@nyulangone.org) to ensure your child’s information remains secure. If you receive an email from the athletic trainer, please follow the instructions to access the message.
