Upper Schoolers in Meghan Chidsey’s Introduction to Anthropology class weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty when they excavated “historic” remains in a simulated dig on Calhoun’s Green Roof, using their own homemade stone tools that replicated those used by early humans.

The workshop was the culmination of a course of study that began with a unit on biological anthropology that examined hominid evolution.
