Virtual Calhoun Summer Music Camp
Interested in taking your musicianship to the next level? This is the camp for you! Join us for the 2020 edition of Calhoun Summer Music.
This five-day camp is for woodwind, brass and string players with at least one year of playing experience. Campers will have opportunities to play and be coached by professional musicians, compose original music, learn recording techniques, and more!
Please Note: We reserve the right to discontinue a camp due to insufficient enrollment or extraordinary circumstances.
Camp Details
Dates: June 22-26, 2020
Hours: 9am-3pm
Campers: Students entering 5th-12th grades and 2020 high school graduates. Campers should have at least a year of playing experience; musicians from all schools are welcome to attend.
Enrollment: Limited to 30 campers
Tuition: $600
Sample Day Schedule
Morning:
- Community Time for warm-ups, games, plan for day
- Instrumental instruction/play sessions w/feedback
Lunch (1 hour)
Afternoon:
- Composition/creative music-making; recording/music technology
- Games, sharing, Q & A, Closing
