Amazing Athletes After School Program
Semesters & Vacation Days
Semesters are approximately 17 weeks long. The first semester begins on Thursday, September 4 and ends on Friday, January 16; the second semester begins on Tuesday, January 20 and ends on Friday, June 5. There are no ASP classes on holidays, vacation days or half days when Calhoun is closed.

Weather-Related Closings
ASP will be canceled in the event of a weather-related school closing or unexpected emergency. The Calhoun community will be notified of any necessary scheduling changes. Refunds for classes will not be issued in this circumstance.
Fees
Enrichment and ASP services' pricing is consistent across the board respective to each ASP program: ASP@85's 1-hour enrichment classes will be one price, and ASP@81's 1-hr, 15-min enrichment classes will be another price. A one-time semester fee is charged for enrollment in Amazing Athletes after school. Some specialty classes may require purchase of equipment items (i.e. Martial Arts belts and uniforms). Financial aid is available for ASP.
Enrolling for Classes
Registration for ASP@85 and ASP@81 is held online through the Amazing Athletes portal. Registration typically opens a few weeks before the semester begins.
Late Pickup Fee
ASP ends promptly at 6pm. There is no additional extended care available. If a child is picked up later than 6pm, a late fee will be assessed. Financial aid does not apply to these additional charges.
If lateness is habitual, Amazing Athletes has the right to withdraw your child.
Guidelines for Registration & Payment
If any scheduling problems should arise, we will be sure to contact you.
- Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Full refunds will only be guaranteed if the class is canceled or if a student withdraws before the start of the semester.
- Pro-rated refunds will be issued during the initial 3-week trial period of the semester if you choose to withdraw your child.
- Pro-rated credits on file will be granted after the trial period.
- Amazing Athletes reserves the right to cancel class due to insufficient enrollment.
- ASP reserves the right to limit class sizes.
Refunds/Credits/Makeups
Full refunds/credits are given only when a class is canceled or a student withdraws before the start of a class. Refunds/credits/makeups are not given for classes missed as a result of illness, conflicts in a student's schedule, or reasons beyond the school's control.
Medical Forms
Parents/guardians are required by law to submit completed, up-to-date medical forms for each child enrolled. Forms on file at school are acceptable.
