ASP Services
In addition to its wide array of enrichment classes, Amazing Athletes offers several services to help families that need extended after-school coverage for their children—whether on a regular basis or on an as-needed basis.
All services are offered every day ASP is in session.
ASP Drop-In Service (3's-8th Grade)
Parents/guardians may take advantage of our ASP drop-in service, which provides emergency coverage or late pickup for your child at the end of the school day, through 6pm. This service is available for 3's-8th grade students, whether or not your child is registered for ASP classes. Please note, you will need to create an account on the Amazing Athletes portal to register for any drop-in care.
Cub Club (3's-Kindergarten)
Learn, create, play! An interactive class fostering creativity and camaraderie, students will enjoy rotating weekly structured activities in Cub Club. These feature storytelling with costumes, themed arts and crafts projects, seasonal/holiday puzzles, age-appropriate board games and books, and many more! Instructors will provide guided play and socialization. Children will be able to explore and learn in a nurturing environment, while having so much fun with their peers! Our goal is to keep students engaged throughout the afternoon. Cub Club ends promptly at 6pm. Families can sign up for the full semester, or register for drop-in care as needed through the Amazing Athletes portal.
Cub Club (1st-4th Grade)
Join our Cub Club, where instructors support students who have any homework or reading assignments and encourage strong time management skills. To nurture well-rounded development, children will enjoy free time to socialize and participate in structured, fun-filled activities that are age appropriate, such as board games, Mad Libs, trivia, puzzles, and architecture with Legos. Instructors will provide guided reading enrichment for students to discuss books they are currently enjoying. Join us for a wonderful learning journey where hard work and fun go hand-in-hand! Our goal is to keep students engaged throughout the afternoon. Cub Club ends promptly at 6pm. Extended Day (3's-8th Grade)
Extended Day services provide supervised care for currently enrolled ASP@85 and ASP@81 participants after ASP classes end, through 6pm. Families can sign up for the full semester, or register for drop-in care as needed through the Amazing Athletes portal.
Homework Help (5th-8th Grade)
Homework Help provides 5th-8th graders with a quiet space and opportunity to seek extra support in completing their homework. Students may participate in group games and activities when work is finished. Homework Help is offered at 81st Street, 3:30-4:45pm. Families can sign up for the full semester, or register for drop-in care as needed through the Amazing Athletes portal.
