Menu for November 29th-December 3rd

Welcome back and the menu for this week!

This week we are cooking up many things, but I am especially excited about, Tuscan kale! 

Tuscan Kale, aka "Dinosaur" Kale

My daughter loves to help me shop at the market and I find it is one of the easiest ways to get her to try new things. When I introduced her to Tuscan kale, I told her it is also called "dinosaur" kale, as a HUGE fan of the Museum of Natural History, her eyes immediately lit up and she was IN. 

With almost no help she cleaned the whole bunch, tore it into pieces and then and helped me blanch and sautéed it with oyster mushrooms and a splash of cream for a pasta sauce. She ate the whole thing with gusto, so I call that a culinary and fine motor skill win.
