US Theater Presents The Addams Family

For its spring musical production, Calhoun’s Upper School Theater brought to life the world of the famously macabre Addams Family in an original story by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice. Backed by a group of ghostly ancestors, students portrayed beloved characters like Gomez, Morticia and Wednesday as they were joined by outsiders for a memorable dinner. The Addams Family, which debuted for one night only, was the culminating celebration of months of hard work by the cast and crew–something Upper School Theater Director Lee Kasper calls “a true example of the resiliency of theater.” As he continued, “Through all sorts of obstacles these incredible student-actors and technicians rose above and created a truly incredible production.”
