6th Graders Complete Creative Projects on Ancient Egypt
For their final project on ancient Egypt, 6th graders in Gloribel Momin's social studies class chose from five options to showcase different facets of the civilization. They could opt for:
- A book of the gods, covering various gods and goddesses, their traits and the stories surrounding them.
- A fashion book investigating the rich attire and styles of the time.
- An exploration of Hieroglyphs unraveling the mysteries of ancient writing systems.
- Diary entries offering a personal narrative through the eyes of an Egyptian citizen.
- A dictionary compiling key terms and concepts central to understanding Egypt's culture and history.
The hands-on project allowed students to demonstrate what they learned about ancient Egypt in a creative way.
