Please join us in welcoming Lindsay Sisson to Calhoun as our new Dean of Enrollment Management. Lindsay joins us from Roland Park Country School in Baltimore, Maryland where she has served as the Director of Enrollment Management since 2017.
A leading candidate throughout our national search, Lindsay has led school-wide strategic initiatives to ensure long-term enrollment outcomes and financial sustainability for a campus of nearly 600 students from preschool through 12th grade, within the highly competitive landscape of Baltimore independent schools. In addition, her involvement in strategic planning, the expansion of external programming, and articulation of a school-wide commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion work has strengthened all aspects of her current school community. Lindsay has also ensured an increase in both enrollment and retention throughout a complex period for urban independent schools.
Regarding her decision to accept the position, Lindsay shared:
"I am inspired by Calhoun's commitment to delivering a progressive approach to education that not only enriches academic experiences for all students, but also encourages innovation, collaboration and service ... I look forward to promoting the many ways Calhoun approaches the student and family experience with intention, so every person knows they belong in the Calhoun community."
The time Lindsay spent at Calhoun was remarkable. Throughout her meetings with students, administrators, parents/guardians and trustees, we appreciated her insightful questions and clear articulation of opportunities ahead for Calhoun.
