At Calhoun, we use sports as a vehicle to empower students with leadership skills they can use both on and off the court, field or track. Before the start of the Fall 2022 season, the Athletics department took the Upper School athletes to KenWood camp in Kent, CT for a retreat. In addition to pre-season practices, Athletics led workshops centered around their four core values: teamwork, leadership, self-awareness and empathy. They discussed belonging, leadership and the intangibles of a successful team.
