On September 25, all students and faculty/staff members gathered to officially welcome Celeste Herrera as our new Head of School. The joy and excitement were palpable as we celebrated the beginning of a new chapter for Calhoun.

The program featured student and faculty musical performances from all three divisions, with almost 100 students taking the stage. Celeste also answered questions posed by Upper School students, including what inspired her to get into education and what her favorite subjects were in school. At the close of the ceremony, Celeste announced the results of our pet elections: a leopard gecko for 85th Street and a bearded dragon for 81st Street.
