Earth Day at Calhoun: Working Together to Care for our Shared Home

This Earth Day, Lower and Upper School students teamed up to breathe new life into our community spaces. From planting around Little Calhoun to creating upcycled artwork and mulching in Riverside Park, our students demonstrated the power of working together to care for our shared home.

Interdivisional work is core to the Calhoun experience and is yet another way in which we prioritize building community. While our youngest learners find new role models to look up to, our older students sharpen their mentorship skills. The result? A day full of palpable joy, muddy hands, and very full hearts.
