Fifth grade chorus students were recently visited by Airloom Beats, "a New York based beatboxer and educator who aims to connect and inspire people through music regardless of their background." She taught the class the basics of beatboxing--beginning by replicating key sounds from the bass, high hat and snare drum. The group tried various call and response exercises as Airloom encouraged them to express themselves through sound.
