Fourth graders have been working with Story Pirates teaching artists to practice how to improvise and engage deeply with texts that can be adapted for the stage. As their culminating performance, they brought to life stories written by Calhoun third graders, titled "Rob the Robot" and "Cat Gymnastics Meet," before improvising two create-a-stories based on ideas from the audience. They did a wonderful job, with their creativity and humor on full display!
