Middle Schoolers Participate in Community-Building Activities
Each grade in the Middle School spent time at the beginning of the school year discussing how to be a Middle Schooler. Led by their grade deans, the groups covered community norms and guidelines to help set students up for success. The following day, Middle Schoolers participated in grade-level community-building activities: sixth graders collaborated on drawings that allowed them to discover shared interests and ideas, seventh graders participated in charades, and eighth graders played community games, including Rock Paper Scissors.
