MS Art Students Visit Guggenheim Museum

Seventh and eighth grade art students visited the Guggenheim Museum to see the current exhibition: Gego: Measuring Infinity. The exhibit "offer[s] a fully integrated view of the influential German-Venezuelan artist and her distinctive approach to the language of abstraction." In addition to exploring Gego's art, students had the unique opportunity to hear from Calhoun parent Peter Brayshaw, the Guggenheim's director of fabrication. He shared with the group some behind-the-scenes information about installing works at the museum.
