Calhoun’s Upper School Community Action class recently partnered up with the organization Kids for Positive Change to develop community outreach projects addressing environmental and social justice issues. Students worked in “think tank teams” or individually to research an issue and create a platform for raising awareness.

The finished projects – ranging from informative fliers to slideshows, videos to social media accounts– were finalized this week in honor of Earth Day, and represent a range of initiatives to inspire both kids and adults to take positive action.
